The warm, emotional moment of two African elephants was captured very realistically through the lens of photographer Jacques Matthysen.
Jacques Matthysen, a photographer specializing in animal photography, “captured” a very impressive emotional moment of elephants in the Kariega nature reserve in South Africa. This is a familiar destination for many tourists who want to witness wild animal life firsthand.
A warm moment of a pair of young elephants
The photographer encountered a herd of nearly 30 elephants playing and chasing each other in the reserve. Among them, two small elephants that had not yet reached adulthood suddenly stopped. They roll their trunks and touch each other with an affectionate gesture no different from humans. Tourists around who witnessed the loving and affectionate actions of the two elephants were surprised.
The 37-year-old photographer shared that he had witnessed elephants playing together, but such a special moment of love was the first time. The “expensive” moment was quickly recorded by Jacques Matthysen. The love scene with the “special kiss” of two young elephants makes many tourists excited.
Elephants’ emotional moments are no different from humans.
“I’m very happy with these images. As you can see, these animals can be very dangerous and aggressive. But when they show affection, they are very gentle.”
